Justin Timberlake is reportedly preparing a four-part documentary series for Apple TV, with Janet Jackson expected to appear in a discussion about their controversial 2004 Super Bowl halftime performance.
The project is reportedly scheduled for December 2026 and will be directed by filmmaker Fisher Stevens. Sources familiar with the production have described it as a tell-all series exploring significant moments in Timberlake’s personal life and career.
Jackson is expected to revisit the Super Bowl incident in which Timberlake accidentally exposed part of her breast during their televised performance. The moment generated widespread controversy and had lasting consequences for Jackson’s career.
The documentary will also reportedly address comments made by Timberlake’s former girlfriend Britney Spears, although specific details remain unclear.
Timberlake previously apologized publicly to both women in 2021.
The singer has maintained a relatively low profile since completing his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in July 2025. He also revealed a Lyme disease diagnosis that affected his performances.
Representatives for Timberlake, Jackson, and Apple have not officially confirmed the project, and an exact premiere date has not been announced.
