In a recent interview, Joe Perry said Aerosmith may still have one more performance left, even after the band stepped away from touring. He did not suggest that any plans are in place, but he made clear he is not ready to rule out a return entirely.
Perry also said a full tour feels much less certain. Steven Tyler’s recovery remains the biggest factor, and the physical demands of a long run are hard to ignore. The band ended its touring career after Tyler suffered a vocal injury that forced the cancellation of the remaining farewell dates.
Even so, Perry’s comments leave some room for the band to share a stage again in a limited way. A single appearance or special event seems more realistic than a major comeback. For now, Aerosmith is not announcing a next step. Still, Perry’s update suggests the door is not completely closed on one more moment with the band.
