A mechanic in Minnesota discovered a wallet under the hood of a 2015 Ford Edge that belonged to a Ford plant worker who lost it 11 years ago. Richard Guilford lost the wallet while working at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne. The wallet contained his driver’s license, Ford Motor Co. ID, $15 in cash, and $250 worth of Cabela’s gift cards. Chad Volk, the mechanic who found the wallet, located Guilford on Facebook and returned it promptly. Despite the wallet enduring high temperatures, its contents remained intact. “It’s well-traveled currency,” Guilford joked of the $15 cash.
