aespa has released the official music video for Switchblade, a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign that brings together K-pop and contemporary R&B influences.
Unveiled on August 4, the video follows the song’s live debut during aespa’s appearance at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Ty Dolla $ign joined the group onstage for the festival performance before appearing alongside Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning in the new visual.
Switchblade is an electronic dance track built around the idea of changing and adapting to different situations. The title serves as a metaphor for flexibility and strength, matching the song’s confident sound and direct lyrics.
The track appears on LEMONADE, aespa’s second full-length studio album. It was originally released as a B-side before receiving its own music video and additional promotion.
The collaboration adds another international artist to aespa’s growing catalog while giving Switchblade a larger spotlight beyond the album. Its release also extends the group’s latest promotional period following their new album and major festival performance.
