The Rolling Stones have officially released Foreign Tongues, their 25th studio album, marking the band’s first collection of new material since 2023’s Hackney Diamonds. The new record arrives after months of teasers and follows an announcement made earlier this year that confirmed the project and its July release.
Produced by Andrew Watt, the 14-track album features guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, Chad Smith and a posthumous performance by longtime drummer Charlie Watts. Several songs were introduced ahead of the full release, giving fans an early look at the band’s latest work.
The album blends blues rock, classic rock and elements of soul and country while keeping the signature sound that has defined the group for decades. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood remain at the center of the project, continuing a creative partnership that has lasted for more than 60 years.
With Foreign Tongues now available on streaming platforms, the release adds another chapter to the Rolling Stones’ long recording career and follows the commercial and critical success of Hackney Diamonds.
