A newly released trailer is offering fans a first look at George Michael: The Faith Tour, a restored concert film built from previously unseen footage of the singer’s 1988 shows in Paris. The footage was captured on 35mm during two performances at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, at a time when Michael’s solo career was reaching new heights.
The announcement also confirms that the original concert material has been restored and remastered for a theatrical release. The film focuses on performances from the Faith era, giving audiences a closer look at one of the most important tours of Michael’s career.
The project will also include a new short film directed by Mary McCartney, featuring newly discovered audio and imagery connected to the Faith period. An 18-track live album, previously unreleased, is set to accompany the film.
George Michael: The Faith Tour is scheduled to arrive in international cinemas in November 2026, followed by a North American theatrical release in December.
