Taylor Swift made a brief return to social media to celebrate Phoebe Bridgers’ 32nd birthday and show support for her latest music. In an Instagram Story shared for the occasion, Swift reposted Bridgers’ album announcement and praised her new record, Lost Weekend.
In the birthday message, Swift said she had been listening to the album repeatedly and highlighted its emotional honesty and vulnerability. The post marked a rare social media appearance from Swift and reflected the friendship the two artists have developed through their work together.
Bridgers and Swift previously collaborated on Nothing New, a track featured on Red (Taylor’s Version). Bridgers also joined Swift as an opening act during several dates of the Eras Tour in 2023.
Lost Weekend is Bridgers’ third studio album and arrived on August 14, just days before her birthday. Swift’s message added a personal note to the release, combining a birthday tribute with public support for a longtime musical collaborator and friend.
