Ariana Grande launched her Eternal Sunshine Tour on Saturday, June 6, at Oakland Arena, opening her first major tour since the 2019 Sweetener World Tour.
The first show gave fans a wide look at her catalog, with the setlist centered mainly on Positions and Eternal Sunshine. Songs from Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead also appeared in the show, while several older hits helped connect the new era to earlier parts of her career.
The concert was arranged in five sections. One stretch brought together “One Last Time,” “Rain On Me,” and “Break Free,” while another paired “Dangerous Woman” with the longtime fan favorite “Honeymoon Avenue.”
Grande also included major singles such as “thank u, next,” “7 Rings,” and “Into You.” The night ended with a notable preview of what comes next, as she performed “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” the lead single from her upcoming album Petal, due July 31.
