The New Jersey Morris County Medical Examiner has determined that KISS guitarist Ace Frehley died from blunt trauma injuries to his head after falling at his home studio. TMZ obtained the official report confirming the 74-year-old rock legend’s death was accidental. Frehley sustained a skull fracture, subdural hematoma, and stroke from the October fall. He was placed on life support before dying on October 16th. Fellow KISS founders Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss mourned his passing alongside countless musicians and fans worldwide. A private memorial service was held in Yonkers one week later, followed by funeral services in The Bronx. The current KISS lineup plans to honor Frehley during this weekend’s “KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas” celebration. (Story URL)
